Go2 Pro 14Ah vs 20Ah: Battery, Range & Weight Guide

Go2 Pro 14Ah vs 20Ah: the main differences are estimated riding range and installed-battery weight. Both options use a 48V LG battery and the same Go2 Pro platform. This guide helps you choose a battery for your planned distance, course conditions, and transport needs.

Range figures are estimates, not guaranteed distances. Load, terrain, speed, temperature, battery condition, and operating conditions affect the distance you can travel. Nominal energy is calculated as voltage × amp-hours: 48 × 14 = 672Wh and 48 × 20 = 960Wh.

When to choose the 14Ah battery

The 14Ah option is worth considering when your planned route fits comfortably within its estimated range and you want the lower installed-battery weight. Before deciding, estimate the whole trip, including movement between holes and any travel to and from your starting point. Leave a battery reserve instead of planning to use the full quoted maximum.

At 36 kg (79.4 lb), the 14Ah version still requires a realistic lifting and loading plan. Folding reduces its size; it does not reduce its weight. If you regularly load the scooter into a vehicle, check that you have a suitable way to handle it.

When to choose the 20Ah battery

The 20Ah option provides more battery capacity and a higher published estimated range. It may suit longer planned distances or riders who prefer more range reserve. The installed-battery weight is 38 kg (83.8 lb), about 2 kg (4.4 lb) more than the 14Ah version.

The 20Ah battery has approximately 43% more nominal energy than the 14Ah battery. This is a capacity comparison, not a promise of exactly 43% more range in every situation. Choose using your route and conditions rather than assuming a fixed number of golf rounds.

What stays the same?

Both battery options share the two 800W motors, folding design, and riding and assisted push-cart functions. Choosing 20Ah does not mean choosing a faster motor system. The published maximum speed is 25 km/h (15.5 mph); always follow course rules and use an appropriate speed for the surface and surroundings.

The maximum climbing angle is 20°. This limit is not a recommendation to attempt every slope of that angle. Surface grip, load, and conditions matter. Avoid slopes or surfaces that you cannot use safely, and follow the operating instructions.

Check transport fit before ordering

Measure your vehicle opening as well as the available storage space. The folded size is 105 × 54.3 × 39 cm (41.34 × 21.38 × 15.35 in). The unfolded size is 86 × 97 × 114 cm (33.86 × 38.19 × 44.88 in). Allow room for handling and any golf bag or accessories you carry separately.

Check that your golf course permits the type of equipment you intend to use. If you mainly want to walk, compare our carritos de golf eléctricos y manuales alongside the Go2 Pro.
